On Saturday 9th of May we met at Lutjestrand/Amstelmeer for testing new carbon layups in high wind conditions.
The wind forecast was great and in 20-35knt SW-W winds the test team was able to test different carbon layups of the SL-P_r3 and SL-R in the 31-34cm range under the 60-63cm wide slalom boards with 5.8 – 6.3m² sails.
The speeds on the cross wind runs in the chop were impressing and went up to 37ktn/h.
Head2head races gave good results about the control, speed and acceleration of the different fin types and carbon layups.
